Research on the feedback control of lower hybrid current drive plasma in tokamaks

  • 1. Academia Sinica, Hefei, AH (China). Inst. of Plasma Physics

Description

A current derivative feedback control system has been established and used in pure lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) experiments on the HT-6B tokamak. By real-time regulating the injected microwave power, the derivation of plasma current driven and sustained by the microwave was controlled successfully. As a result, a flat-top of 20 KA for 20 ms was obtained . A controlled ramp-down process with fixed derivatives has also been realized
