Description

This paper presents a method of glueing electrical contacts between winding discs of the galette coils with a conducting adhesive. This way of joining the discs should prevents the bending deformation arising as the result of electrodynamical forces action. The method improves the technology of assembling the galette coils described at Conference on Magnet Technology MT-7. The conformal mapping method was used for calculation of the cooling conditions in the galette coils
