Description

This paper presents partial results on flow induced vibration in square and triangular straight tube bundles of P/D=1.44. The bundles were subjected to steam-water cross-flow. The most prominent vibration mechanism observed was fluidelastic instability. Fluidelastic data are reduced according to the Connors' quasi static model. (orig.)
