Dimensional regularization of the VVA triangle graph as a continuous superposition of Pauli-Villars regularizations

Description
It is pointed out that dimensional regularization of the VVA triangle diagram is equivalent (for various approaches to γ5) to a continuous superposition of Pauli-Villars cut-offs, defined by means of an integration over the regulator mass smeared with an appropriate weight function. The idea of a 'dimensional regularization in four dimensions' is briefly discussed. (orig.)
