Description

EUROGAM phase 1 is fully operational since beginning october 1992. The present array and the preliminary results of the initial experiment, the study of the superdeformed bands properties in 151Tb, are first described. For phase 2 recently developed composite Ge detectors, the clovers, will be used around 90deg to increase the granularity and the photopeak efficiency and also to allow simultaneous linear polarization measurements.
