Description
A review is given on the fuel element situation of the TRIGA Mark II reactor Vienna after 39 years of operation. Experience show an excellent fuel element behaviour if proper maintenance and inspection procedures are carried out in regular intervals. Using special tools an example is presented how a damaged fuel element can be removed from the core without core unloading.(author)
