Heating analysis of a valve for sodium loop

Description

The adequated heating conditions for the Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear (IEN) CTS-1 sodium loop drain valve are established. To achieve this goal, the temperature profile over the valve stem lenght is evaluated. Finally, experiments made to assure the desired heating conditions are described. (Author)

Estabelecem-se condicoes adequadas de aquecimento para a valvula de dreno do circuito a sodio CTS-1 do Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear (IEN). Para isso, estima-se o perfil de temperaturas ao longo da haste da valvula. Finalmente, descrevem-se experimentos realizados para assegurar as condicoes de aquecimento desejadas. (Autor)
