On coaxiality of load application during tensile tests
Description
The level of tension, the number of loading cycles, size of the specimen ad rigidity of its fastening in clamps are experimentally studied for their effect on characteristics of coaxiality in the power circuit. A method is suggested to determine characteristics of coaxiality on the cylindrical specimen by measuring deformations in two points of its cross-section perimeter. Results of measurements of coaxiality characteristics on specimens of different constructions and sizes under tension with cocking are presented
