Investigation of adduct of ytterbium trisacetylacetonate with α,α'-dipyridyl

Description

The crystal structure of ytterbium trisacetylacetonate adduct with α,α'-dipyridyl is studied. It is established that the crystals are related to monoclinic crystal system. α,α'-dipyridyl is coordinated by two nitrogen atoms. C.N. of ytterbium atom equals 8. A ligand-mixed complex is mononuclear, but there are rwo ytterbium atoms being independent crystallochemically
