Description

On-site dynamic tests and three-dimensional numerical analysis have been performed by ISMES, on behalf of ENEA on the building of the Italian PEC fast reactor test facility. These studies aimed at evaluating the safety margins in the PEC reactor seismic analysis and at providing data for the optimization of the PEC seismic monitoring system. The main features of the study and comparisons between numerical and experimental results are presented. (orig./HP)
