Multitier Straight-Sprue Casting System

Description

A method is proposed for calculating the geometric characteristics of a multitier straight-sprue casting system. In the system, the flow rate is adjusted by means of a nozzle in the upper part of the sprue. As an example, the casting system for the production of a specific component (a housing) is calculated. ProCAST software is used for modeling.
