High-rate detectors

Description

Tracking detectors are discussed, with particular attention given to momentum resolution and high-rate design criteria for drift chambers. Results are presented for improved spatial resolution in the CLEO Drift Chamber using the data to survey the chamber. Recent results obtained by H. Walenta for very high rates in a mini-drift chamber prototype are also reported
