Experimental tests of the standard model using the recently collected UA2 data

We report on recent precision measurements of the standard model parameters, in particular mass measurements of the vector bosons W, Z which have been performed recently at the CERN panti p Collider. Also further tests on perturbative QCD have been made using the measured W and Z boson production cross sections, their transverse momentum distributions and their decay in quark-antiquark pairs. We report here on these measurements made with the UA2 detector using the data collected during the 1988-89 CERN panti p Collider runs. (orig.)
