Recent studies on MSSM Higgs bosons with the CMS detector

  • 1. Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia, Universita di Catania, Catania (Italy)

Description

The discovery potential of the Higgs bosons from the MSSM with the CMS detector is reviewed for different channels. In particular, the expected experimental sensitivity to the heavy neutral Higgs bosons through the decays H/A → μμ and ττ and to the charged MSSM Higgs bosons in the H± → tb and H± → τν channels is discussed. An estimate of the precision achievable in the determination of the tan β parameter for the H/A → ττ H± → τν decays is also given. (author)
