Intracranial hematoma and SAH: actual aspects in its interpretation with magnetic resonance

A basic understanding of the magnetic properties of Hb degradation products explains the mechanisms and production of the signals occurring at the different stages of the formation and degradation of intracranial hematoma and SAH. Despite the interaction among complex phenomena and the fact that their explanations are not univocal, since many phenomena remain to be understood even in the light of those theories that, at present, most closely agree, the proposed models permit the comprehension and diagnosis of a pathology which, in addition to being common, is diagnostically relevant and serves as paradigm in Radiological research.
