Transverse energy production in central rapidity region in 16O-Pb collisions
Description
Using the wounded nucleon model, we investigate the experimental data of the transverse energy (ET) distribution in 16O-Pb and proton-Au collisions obtained by the NA35 Collaboration at the CERN-SPS. It is shown that the large ET distribution in the 16O-Pb collisions is over what is expected from the proton-Au data. (author)
