Nuclear reactor spacer grid and ductless core component

Description

A nuclear reactor spacer grid member for use in a liquid cooled nuclear reactor is described. A ductless fuel assembly comprises a plurality of these spacer grid members, spaced apart along the length of structural sodium tubes by means of spacer sleeves about the sodium tubes at locations between the grid members, thereby maintaining a predetermined space between adjacent grid members.
