S-wave mass spectra, decays of beauty and charm mesons

Description
On the basis of the interaction derived from the study of bq-bar and cq-bar bound states within the quantum chromodynamic potential model, the spectrum of s-wave bc-bar mesons are calculated, which have the prospect of discovery in LEP and p-barp experiments. The authors compare their predictions with those of other authors. From this simple study, bounds for the masses of Bc and Bc* mesons are suggested. The pseudo-scalar decay constant and magnetic dipole transition rate of bc-bar meson, are also calculated. (author)
