Method for spectrophotometric determination of tungsten in alloyed steels
Description
A highly selective and accurate method for tungsten determination in alloyed steels is suggested, which consists in the treatment of analyzed solution by 4-sulfobenzeneazopyrocatechol in the presence of 500-multiple excess of ascorbic acid and unithiol at pH 0.6-1.2 and measurement of optical density of solutions analyzed. The accuracy of W determination by this method surpasses the known methods by a factor of 1.5, relative standard deviation being 0.02. 1 tab
