Study of structure, magnetic and elastic properties of monocrystals of Fe-25%Co-30%Cr-3,4%Mo

Description

Monocrystals of the alloy Fe-25%Co-30%Cr-3.4%Mo have been grown. It is shown that they are elastically anisotropic with anisotropy factor A, considerably higher than 1 at the temperature of isothermal thermomagnetic treatment (ITMT). Considerable relative difference of phase lattice periods not only after final optimum heat treatment but also after isothermal thermomagnetic treatment in the alloy Fe-25%Co-30%Cr-3.4%Mo is confirmed. Microstructure determining the optimum magnetic properties of the alloy is formed when magnetic field during ITMT coincides with the direction <100>. Magnetic field deviation from the direction <100> results in the following: precipitations of α1-ferromagnetic phase are oriented in their long axes or axes of a number of particles in the direction between magnetic field direction and direction of the type <100>
