Extraction of some lanthanides by mono (2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid
Description
The extraction behaviour of Nd(III), Gd(III) and Tb(III) from nitric acid solution with H2MEHP in n-hexane has been investigated as a function of such variables as the concentration of metal and hydrogen ions and extractant. The extracted species have been identified by slope analysis and extraction constants (Kex) have been calculated. (orig.)
