Influence of a magnetic field on liquid metal corrosion
Creators

Description
A model has been developed describing the two dimensional transport of wall material in liquid metal flow. This model has been used to investigate the influence of a magnetic field on the corrosion in a liquid metal cooled blanket. A comparison between calculated and measured results shows reasonable agreement for a forced convection loop experiment performed at the Argonne National Laboratory
