Description

Fundamentals of a Monte Carlo program for calculating the radiation exposure due to bremsstrahlung outside of accelerator buildings without having shielding roofs are described. Some of the results obtained are presented for various target materials of electron accelerators. These results allow to estimate radiation exposures at several distances within a zone of 5 km radius as well as to assess the influence of computer program changes which are physically determined
