DIN EN ISO 16647:2021-10: Nuclear facilities - Criteria for design and operation of confinement systems for nuclear worksite and for nuclear installations under decommissioning (ISO 16647:2018); English version EN ISO 16647:2021
Description
This document specifies the requirements applicable to the design and use of air containment systems that provide safety and radiation protection functions in nuclear workplaces and decommissioned nuclear facilities for protection against generated radioactive contamination by aerosols or gases. The text of ISO 16647:2018 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 85 "Nuclear energy, nuclear technologies, and radiological protection" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and adopted as EN ISO 16647:2021 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 430 "Nuclear energy, nuclear technology and radiation protection", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German standardisation body is NA 062-07-FBR "Fachbereichsbeirat Kerntechnik und Strahlenschutz" within the DIN Standards Committee for Materials Testing (NMP).
