The DMTS system is developed for the Temelin NPP. The following topics are dealt with: Technical and software concept of the DMTS system; Initial specification (Control; Measurement; Output; Processing (basic processing of the observed data; data analysis; point mode); Evaluation (mathematics; point mode; stimulus)); Comparison of the initial specifications of the DMTS system with similar systems; and Applications (Calibration of the RVMS measuring chains; Determination of the time constants of thermocouples at the cold and hot legs of the primary circuit).
