Study of Stark effect at phononless 2E-4A2 transition of Cr3+ in potassium tantalate

Description
Effect of external electric field on parameters of phononless R-line of Cr3+ photoluminescence in KTaO3 at T=85K was investigated. Sufficient decrease of R-line intensity in the field and the linear character of Stark effect, related with the loss of Cr3+ inversion center in excited E-state were revealed
