Device for grafting high-polymer articles preirradiated with ionizing beams

Description

A device is described for grafting preirradiated high-polymer flat articles, with boiling acrylic acid or a solution thereof, including a casing and acid condensation surfaces, in which either (a) said acrylic acid condensation surfaces are formed of metallic copper, which is electrically insulated from contact with the other parts of the device or (b) copper which is electrically insulated from the casing is disposed in the grafting device or both (a) and (b) are present. The metallic copper, desirably rod-shaped or net-shaped, is disposed at right angles to the textile web and extends across the entire textile web. It is also desirable to have a feed pipe and an outlet pipe for the acrylic acid of metallic copper
