Can we still strongly believe in weak magnetism

Description

The question of weak magnetism in V-A theory with strong CVC is discussed in the light of recent nuclear decay data. It is shown that while evidence from beta spectra looks less convincing to-day than fifteen years ago recent independent information based on other observables within the A = 12 isotopic triad upholds the existence of strong CVC. Experimental data of various workers are evaluated and compared. (U.K.)
