Pressing of small diameter tubes of powder heat resisting nickel alloys

Description

For the purpose of investigating technological parameters of pressing for tubes of a nickel base heat resisting alloy experimental pressing was carried out on a vertical hydraulic press making use of plane matrices. The results of the experiments performed allow to determine the optimum parameters of pressing: pressing temperature 1120-1140 deg C, velocity - 50-65mm/s, extrusion ratio 11-17. It has been found that pressing considerably increases powder material ductility
