Study of quarkonium spectroscopy through the approximated variational method
Description
The spectroscopy of the qq sup(-) bound states in a non-relativistic approximation using a approximate variational method is studied. Because of its similarity to positronium, a wave function of the hidrogen atom, is used. The 'coulomb-logaritmic-linear' was the potential used to described it. The fitting is done, and relevant coupling constant due to a logaritmic piece is found. All states described in this way furnishes v2 <0.29. In the study of the spin depend contributions, all states 3P are reasonably explained and it no occurs with the mass diference between psi and eta sub(c). (Author)

Procura-se estudar a espectroscopia dos estados ligados qq sup(-), na aproximacao nao relativistica, atraves do metodo variacional aproximado. Devido a semelhanca com o positronio, utiliza-se a funcao de onda do atomo de hidrogenio. E utilizado o potencial 'coulomb-logaritmico-linear'. E feito o ajuste, atraves do qual a constante de acoplamento da parte logaritmica contribui de forma relevante. Todos os estados assim descritos fornecem v2<0.29. No estudo das contribuicoes dependentes de spin, os estados 3P sao razoavelmente explicados, o que nao acontece com a diferenca de massa entre psi e eta sub(c). (Autor)Additional details
