Calibration experiment on detection of fissionable material in soil with the use of neutron registration

Description
As it was demonstrated in calibration experiment the fissionable material with the escape of neutrons 20-200 s-1 is detected with the aim of registration of neutrons by the SNM-18 detector. Efficiency of collimator was verified, possibility for the determination of direction on the neutron source was demonstrated. Experimental results for the verification of calculating techniques were obtained. Similar experiments are described by means of PRIZMA.D and MCNP codes with the 15% error

В калибровочном эксперименте показано, что с помощью регистрации нейтронов детектором СНМ-18 в грунте обнаружен делящийся материал с выходом нейтронов 20-200 с-1. Проверена работоспособность коллиматора, показана возможность определения направления на источник нейтронов. Получены экспериментальные результаты, пригодные для верификации расчетных методик. Программы ПРИЗМА.Д и MCNP с 15% погрешностью описывают подобные экспериментыAdditional details
