Description
We measured an excitation spectrum of 12C(p, d) reaction near the η' emission threshold using a 2.5 GeV proton beam. The measured spectrum shows no peak structures which are associated to formation of η'-mesic nuclei. Further analysis is ongoing to deduce upper limits of the formation cross section and to set constraints in the η'-nucleus interaction. (author)
