Study of selectivity of sulfate - ion sorption by hydrated zirconium dioxide
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev (Ukrainian SSR). Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii
Description
Effect of medium ocidity, discharge, composition and concentration of solution, presence of background electrolyte on anion-exchange properties of hydrated zirconium dioxide of spherical granulation is investigated. In acidic and neutron media (pH-1-6) the sorbent is shown to manifest selectivity to sulfate-ion and it allows to use it to separate anion pairs, for example, NO3--SO42- under dynamic conditions
