Magnetic field analysis by using 2nd-order elements
- 1. Akita National College of Technology, Akita (Japan)
Description
We are developing a code for analyzing static magnetic fields in magnets with cylindrical symmetry. The developing code uses finite element method technique with 2nd-order elements. To confirm accuracy of developing code, we compared calculation results with that of POISSON. As a result, both magnetic field distributions agree within 2%. In this paper, we will present current status and point out the remaining problems. (author)
