Instrumental analysis of iodine in mineral suplement for animals by X-ray fluorescence

Description
The use of energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis is studied for evaluation of iodine content in mineral suplement for animals. An 100 milicuries americium-241 radioactive source and a Si (Li) semiconductor detector is employed. (M.A.C.)

Estuda-se o emprego da analise por fluorescencia de raiox X por dispersao de energia na determinacao instrumental (nao destrutiva) de iodo em amostras de suplemento mineral para animais, empregando-se uma fonte radioativa de americio-241 de 100 milicuries na excitacao e detector semicondutor de Si (Li) na deteccao dos raios X produzidos.
