Description
A system of two coupled Thomas-Fermi equations applicable in nuclear physics is obtained and solved. The attractive component of the internucleon interaction, which is simulated by a Yukawa function, the Coulomb repulsion between protons, and a hard-core repulsive effect are included in the method
