Description
Some estimations of the technical and economic performance of doped silica glass are resulted as a promising thermoelectric material for solar energy facilities. It is shown that an increase in the thermoelectric figure of merit ZT up to 1.5 - 2 thermoelectric converters of this material by unit price (reduced to unit generated power) can be competitive in the market.
