Specific dynamics for the domain walls in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory

  • 1. Department of Physics, Eastern Mediterranean University, G Magusa, North Cyprus, Mersin 10 (Turkey)

Description

We consider Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton Lagrangian, supplemented by double Liouville potentials to enrich the system, and investigate the resulting dynamics. The general solution provides alternative structures induced on the three-dimensional domain wall (DW) moving in the four-dimensional bulk. In particular, the local maximum in the potential suggests a maximum bounce (or onset for a contraction phase) of the three-dimensional Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe on the DW. Depending on the choice of parameters we plot various cases of physical interest. (paper)
