Operation problems as viewed by EDF
Description
The installation of a plant such as Eurodif, whose power will reach, when fully operational, a maximum of 3,200 MW, and of a nuclear power plant of 4x900 MW, such as the one located in the Tricastin area, has considerable effects on the structure and operation of the EDF's network, both at the national and regional levels. The paper presents the situation regarding the Tricastin-Eurodif complex in the context of the EDF's network, the main operation problems that are encountered and the organization that had to be created to tackle these problems. Finally, it affords the opportunity to give an appreciation of the situation about the operation of the complex in 1982

L'implantation d'une usine telle qu'Eurodif, qui atteindra en etape finale une puissance maximale de 3200 MW, et d'une centrale nucleaire de 4x900 MW telle que Tricastin a des repercussions considerables sur la structure et l'exploitation du reseau d'EDF, tant national que regional. L'article presente la situation du complexe Tricastin-Eurodif par rapport au reseau d'EDF, les principaux problemes d'exploitation qui se posent et l'organisation qu'il a fallu mettre en place pour y faire face.
