Description
First results of a nuclear-orientation experiment on tritium are presented. The beta-asymmetry parameter A1, which is sensitive to right-handed currents, is obtained to be 0.06(6). The value is in agreement with the prediction of the Standard Model. To be sensitive to deviations from the Standard Model, ten times better statistics is required
