Description

One of the attractive features of the amorphous alloys is the scope to influence their electric, magnetic and mechanical properties in a desired manner by compositional changes and magnetic and thermal annealing treatments. Among these alloys, those containing, Cr, Mo and W attract particular attention for they change both the magnetic as well as thermal behaviour of these alloys significantly. The authors present a comparative study of the molybdenum containing amorphous alloys Fe72Nisub(10-x)Mosub(x)B16Si12 where x = 2 and 6. (Auth.)
