Description

The subsolidus phase relations of the ZnO-P2O5-WO3 ternary system were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD). No ternary compound was found in this ternary system, while five binary compounds were obtained and six compatibility triangles were determined. The phase diagram of pseudobinary system Zn3(PO4)2-ZnWO4 was also constructed through XRD and differential thermal analysis (DTA) methods, which forms eutectic system with eutectic temperature about 990 oC. The corresponding eutectic component is 30 mol% ZnWO4 and 70 mol% Zn3(PO4)2.
