A 2000 Ci tritium gas target for high-energy photo-nuclear reactions
Description
A 2000 Ci tritium gas target for photonuclear experiments is described. It has been designed, built and operated successfully at the Bonn 500 MeV synchrotron. Its main features are: the separation of storage and operation mode, the use of very thin windows in the target cell, and a double containment system. (orig.)

Ein 2000-Ci-Tritiumgastarget wurde am Bonner 500-MeV-Synchrotron fuer photonukleare Streuexperimente aufgebaut und erfolgreich betrieben. Die wesentlichen Eigenschaften sind: apparative Trennung der Funktionen Speicherung und Einsatz, die Verwendung sehr duenner Folien in der Targetzelle und ein System des doppelten Einschlusses.
