Electron beam instability in a magnetic field
Description
An attempt to give physical interpretation for electron beam instability and to answer the following questions: whether the beam remains compensated at oscillation occurrence; how occurs deformation of its structure; what are the criteria of instability occurrence and of its stabilization-is made. Quality model of instability which agrees satisfactorily with experimental observations is presented
