Description

Measured natural and artificial environmental levels of 37Ar, 39Ar, 81Kr and 85Kr are presented. The fields in which these isotopes are being applied are described. On the basis of environmental levels and on assumed memory effects in o.as proportional counters an attempt is made to estimate the desired activities of gas standards which could be used without further dilution.
