Description

Synthesis of intercalation compounds of aluminium hydroxide with lithium salts containing transitional metal complexes Li2M(EDTA)·4Al(OH)3·4H2O (M=Co, Ni, Cu) is realized. Thermal decomposition of intercalation compounds of aluminium hydroxide in vacuum or inert gas at temperatures from 400 to 500 deg C leads to the production of composition materials, containing small metal particles in an x-ray amorphous matrix. 5 refs.; 5 figs
