Energies of ground-state bands of vibrational isotones (N=88, 62≤Z≤70) from modified VMI-models
Description
The structure of the ground state bands in even-even vibrational 88-neutron isotones 62150Sm, 64152Gd, 66154Dy, 68156Er and 70158Yb are studied with VMINS-model. New manipulation of this model is used to calculate the energy values for the ground state bands and its continuation beyond the first backbending. The calculated values are compared with the experimental data, the values predicted by VMINS3-and the other two generalizations of the VMI-model, namely, VAVM-and GVMI models. There is evidence that the method proposed (VMINSZ) gives much more accurate results than that obtained from VMINS3, VAVM and GVMI. The interpretation of the results can be given without introducing the second order of the softness parameter as given in the original VMINS. (author)
