W-boson electric dipole moment and helicity amplitudes

Description
We study the scattering of a W boson from an electromagnetic field for a CP-violating interaction due to the electric dipole moment d/sub W/ of the W. We find that all the helicity-conserving amplitudes vanish at any angle, while the helicity-nonconserving amplitudes vanish only when the scattering angle is zero, or when d/sub W/=0
