Description
Ionising radiation are used in a variety of ways for the benefit of society viz. medical applications, industrial applications, research applications and agricultural applications. Exposure to ionising radiations may cause biological changes in the exposed person. Therefore suitable control measures must be ensured to minimize radiation exposure so that maximum benefits are derived with minimum radiological risk. To meet these objectives appropriate Act and Rules have been promulgated by AERB
