US 2010 policy impacts 2050 energy price
Description
Still subject to negotiations, the price of CO2 emissions on the energy market will change significantly. Which way it will go depends on the height of the price, possible investment in new nuclear power plants and the use of CO2 capture and storage. It is clear that the decisions of the coming years will significantly influence both the price and the energy production method.

Er wordt nog over onderhandeld, maar een prijs op de uitstoot van CO2 zal de energiemarkt danig veranderen. Welke kant het op zal gaan, is onder meer afhankelijk van de hoogte van die prijs, mogelijke investeringen in nieuwe kerncentrales en de toepassing van CO2-afvang en -opslag. Duidelijk is dat beslissingen in de komende jaren van grote invloed zullen zijn op zowel de prijs als de manier van energieproductie in 2050.Additional details
